The Cannes Film Festival has officially unveiled the jury for its 78th edition, which will take place from May 14 to 25, 2025. This prestigious panel brings together celebrated figures from global cinema, tasked with awarding the Palme d’Or and other honors.

American director and screenwriter Greta Gerwig, known for “Barbie” and “Lady Bird,” will preside over the jury. She is the first American woman to serve as Jury President in Cannes history. Gerwig will be joined by eight renowned artists from around the world, reflecting the international spirit and artistic diversity of the festival.
